Austin oversees the financial, reporting, and control processes within our organization. He works closely with other members of senior management to achieve company specific goals and corporate objectives, helping guide the company to continued success.

Expertise

Austin has more than 23 years of experience in accounting and finance. He spent a large part of his career in public accounting where he provided consulting, general accounting, and auditing services to clients within various industries but with a heavy focus on construction and architecture and engineering companies. Later, Austin shifted into the private sector where he served as Controller for a residential construction contractor.

In October of 2020, Austin joined the Welsbach team, working closely with members across the organization to maintain and advance compliance, accounting, and other financial goals and requirements.

Austin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College, New York. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York state, as well as a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional.

The Personal Side

In his free time, Austin enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and engaging in outdoor activities with his wife and two children.
