As Vice President of the Industrial/Commercial Division, Alan guides project teams to develop installation solutions that serve the needs of customers and build Welsbach’s reputation for outstanding quality.

Alan develops detailed work planning methodologies, designs value engineering opportunities, and collaborates closely with customers and end users, in order to create mutually beneficial conditions for project success. His approach emphasizes supporting on-site personnel to overcome unique challenges related to their custom installations, which helps maximize value to all project stake-holders.

Expertise

With over 33 years of direct industry experience, Alan has developed a wide range of management and engineering expertise across many areas of electrical construction. He has worked on power plants, cogeneration plants, stadiums, office buildings, data centers, newspaper plants, water treatment plants, tunnels, transit installations and many other facilities.

Alan joined the EMCOR family two decades ago, bringing with him substantial project management, engineering design, and strategic planning experience. Before becoming a part of the Welsbach team, he spent 16 years working at Forest Electric.

Alan holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnic University in New York, as well as a baccalaureate degree in the same field from the University of Hartford. Additionally, he is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified and a registered Professional Engineer for the State of New York.

The Personal Side

Alan spends his free time with his wife and three children and their Portuguese Water Dog. He enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and volunteering in his community.
